Ann M. (Bresnahan) Sherlock, 92, a longtime resident of North Andover, MA, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Wingate at Andover surrounded by her family.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Ann was a graduate of both St. Patrick's Grammar and High Schools in Lawrence.
She was retired from the Eagle Tribune where she had worked as a Switchboard Operator. Prior to that, Ann had worked at the Lawrence Gas Company as well as Bishop's Restaurant. One of Ann's favorite hobbies was going to Garage Sales. She also loved going to the beach where she would be every summer. Ann was also known for her wonderful sense of humor.

her children: Marianne and her husband Richard Trepanier of the Villages, FL, Kathleen and her husband Klaus Szyska of North Andover, MA, Joseph T. Sherlock and his wife Diana of Bradford, MA, Barbara M. Sherlock of North Andover, MA, William J. Sherlock and his wife Paula of Haverhill, MA, and Cornelius J. Sherlock and his wife Maria of Apopka, FL. Ann is also survived by a brother: Joseph Bresnahan of Andover, MA, and sisters Claire Hermann of North Andover, MA, and Marguerite Keene of Lawrence, MA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael's Church, 196 Main St., North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery, also in North Andover, MA. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 MERRIMACK ST., NORTH ANDOVER, MA.
