CARPENTER- Of Groveland, formerly of Chelsea, July 19th, May L (Boudreau) Lombard-Carpenter. Devoted wife of the late Edgar J. Lombard and Peter P. Carpenter. Beloved mother of Delmar E. Lombard of California, Larry L. Lombard of Florida, Dorothy M. Dudley of Groveland, Shirley A. Bright of Indiana, Janet T. Manuel of Groveland, Stephen G. Lombard of Indiana and the late James E Lombard, Robert W. Lombard and Ernest A. Lombard. Dear and loving sister of Emily M. Melanson of Pelham, New Hampshire, Josephine M. LeBalance, Benita J. Porter and Genevieve A. Deveau all of Canada and the late Angele G. Fitzgerald, Wilfred C. Boudreau, Clayton F. Boudreau, Infant Delmar Boudreau, Infant Delmar Boudreau II, Edward R. Boudreau and Ernest J. Boudreau. Also lovingly survived by 51 grandchildren, 96 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Friday morning, July 23rd at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 601 Broadway, CHELSEA at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.Born in Widgport, Nova Scotia 95 years ago, May came to the United States at the age of 16 settling with her family in East Boston. Shortly after her family moved to Chelsea where she resided for the next 71 years, moving to Groveland 8 years ago to live with her daughter Janet. She was devoted to her family, doting over her children as well as her 156 grand, great, and great, great grandchildren.
