David Michael Banks, 71, of Paxton died Monday, February 25th surrounded by his family at Tatnuck Park of Worcester after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 30 years, Aeng "Ann" (Yu) Banks; a daughter, Jennifer Banks-Rocha and her husband, Joseph of Beverly; a brother, Russell Banks of Charlotte, North Carolina and a sister, Rita Fleming of Worcester.
Mr. Banks was born in Worcester the son of Aubrey R. and Margaret (McGinnis) Banks. David spent two years at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and transferred to Boston University, graduating with a BA in Business. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business from Clark University. David owned and operated several businesses, including Hot Dog Annie's for the last 20 years with his wife, Ann. David was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Country Club, Ocean Edge Gold Club and of St. Peter's Church. David had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.
Funeral services and burial are private. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is directing arrangements.
