Jacqueline Elora (Hopkins) McCawley, 82, of Naples, FL, formerly of Dartmouth, passed away Thursday February 21, 2013 surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Ora (Lavoie) Hopkins, and sister of the late Geraldine Hopkins Cooke.
Jackie received her nursing degree from the Truesdale Hospital School of Nursing. In 1953 she married Paul J. McCawley and helped support him through law school. She was a devoted and loving mother and friend. She was involved in many community activities including the Schwartz Center for Children where she volunteered. She was an avid golfer and bridge player and enjoyed sailing and skiing.
She is survived by her husband Paul; a son, David and his wife Judy; a daughter Kathleen Pallatroni and her husband Lawrence; five grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth McCawley, Joseph, Paul, and Keith Pallatroni; and many nieces and nephews.
