Lynn Birdwell, 63, of Cunningham, TN, died on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on August 3, 1949 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Fort Birdwell, Jr. and Juanita Potter Birdwell.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman and Dr. John David Laida officiating. Burial will be in Black Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. and Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Lynn was a retired manager with Airgas in 1999. He was a former employee of Auto Bumper. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville and Queen City Masonic Lodge 761.
He is survived by his step-mother, Virginia Birdwell of Clarksville, TN; wife, Gayle Black Birdwell of Cunningham, TN; mother-in-law, Verble Black of Cunningham, TN; niece, Amy (Charles) Zimmerman; and two nephews, Michael (Jacque) Hodges and Chance Hodges.
Pallbearers will be Chance Hodges, Michael Hodges, Charles Zimmerman, Mark Whitt, Bobby Baggett, Steve Black, David Batson, and F.C. Lehman. Honorary pallbearers will be the Country Diner Morning Crew.
