Auburn-Florence E. (Marois) Parmenter, 82, of Auburn, died Wednesday, February 20th in her home. Her husband was the late Bertram Parmenter. She leaves a son, Robert M. Lavallee and his wife Debora of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Robert Lavalle, Jr. and Monique M. Lavallee; two longtime friends, Shirley Huntington of Oxford and Virginia Rudy of Greensboro, NC. Another son, Paul Lavallee, died in 2009.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Stanislaw and Elnora (Baker) Marois and lived in Auburn for many years. Mrs. Parmenter enjoyed traveling and going to the casino. She attended BINGO often at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the Seven Hills Foundation, both in Worcester.
A calling hour is from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Thursday, February 28th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. A service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Contributions in her memory may be made to Veterans, Inc. 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
