Harold C. Carliell 91 of 1178 Stafford St., died Friday, July 16th at the Meadows of Leicester after an illness. He leaves his wife of 64 years Blanche E. (Morrison) Carliell, two nieces; Beverly A. Carliell of Thompson, CT., Jean S. Jalbert of Sturbridge and several nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers; Leland and Edward Carliell. Born in Warren, he was the son of Alex & Gertrude (Marsh) and has lived here since 1948. Mr. Carliell was a truck driver at McLean Trucking in Shrewsbury for 17 years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Teamsters Local # 170 AFL-CIO. He was a graduate of Warren High School. He was a member of the Oxford Masonic Lodge, the Royal Arch Chapter in Southbridge and was a member for 75 years of the Charlton Grange # 92. He was an avid gardner and enjoyed camping. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 20th at 10 a.m. in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will be in Gore Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours will be Monday, July 19th from 4-6 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Charlton Grange c/o Marion Reynolds, 33 Reynold's Road, Charlton, MA, 01507.
