Jenio R. Funari of Needham died on Saturday July 17th at his home. He was 73 years old. Mr. Funari was a U. S. Army Korean War veteran. He worked for many years as a self-employed heavy equipment operator. The beloved husband for 51 years of Alba (DiVecchia) and the devoted father of Sandra J. Twomey and her husband Paul of Boxford, M. Anthony and his wife Erika Funari of Carlisle, Lisa M. Rudis and her husband Robert of Andover and the late Ricky Funari. He was the brother of Jennie Arbuckle of Needham, Gino of Hampton NH, Jemma Pantalone of Watertown, Betty Funari of Arkville NY, Jilio of Mansfield, Julio of Arkville NY, George of Natick, Frederick of Maui HI and Attilio of Randolph. Cherished grandpa of John and Ariana Twomey and Nikole and Molly Rudis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Wednesday July 21 at 9:00 Am followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Needham.
