Jimmie Lee Burch, age 86, of Hazlehurst, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Burch was born on February 26, 1926, in Hazlehurst, GA to the late Vilas and Georgia Ann Davis Johns.
Survivors include: daughter, Zephia Bryant, of Hazlehurst, GA, three sons, Johnny Burch, Elisha Burch, and Alton Burch, all of Douglas, GA, nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in by two sons, Spencer Burch, Jr. George Joe Burch, two daughters, Georgia May Burch, Josphine Nipper, two brothers, Frank Davis, Johnny Davis and a sister, Virginia Davis.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2 :00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Thelma Norris officiating. Interment followed at Royals Church Cemetery.
