Bruce A. Burton, 53, died unexpectedly on February 17, 2013 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Natick after being stricken earlier at his residence in Natick.
He was born in Natick on February 9, 1960 the son of Stanley G. Burton and Evelyn R. (Hardy) Burton of Natick.
He was the loving father of Chloe Sasso Burton and Spencer Sasso Burton both of Waltham. Devoted brother of Craig R. Burton of Natick, Kathleen A. Arnold and her husband Robert L. of Westborough, John A. Burton and his companion Kathleen McCauley of East Boston and Robert W. Burton and his wife Maura of Franklin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Bruce has been a longtime resident of Natick and previously resided in Waltham. He was a graduate of Natick High School and attended Mass Bay College in Wellesley and Northeastern University in Boston. He had an accomplished career as an Information Technology Technician for ever 12 years with the Shaw Group in Stoughton and recently was associated with WGBH in Brighton. While in high school, Bruce was an outstanding football player for the Natick Redman. He continued his love of sports especially football following the New England Patriots. He enjoyed dirt biking, motorcycles and boating. He was a loving and devoted father to his children and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Private family visitations and services will be held at their convenience.
A Celebration of Bruce’s Life will be held at a later date at a time and place to be announced.
