Obituary

WORCESTER___Tadeus J. Sztuka, 80, of 15 Vivian St., died Friday July 16 in his home.

He leaves two brothers, Boleslaws Sztuka of Warren and Walter J. Sztuka, Jr., of Auburn; three sisters, Anna Aksten and Helen Painchaud both of Worcester and Sophie Pogorzelski of Millbury; nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Walter J. Sztuka, Sr., and Amelia (Klutka) Sztuka and lived six years in Oxford and most of his life here.

Mr. Sztuka worked many years for Curtis & Marble Co. and retired several years ago. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and later also served with the U.S. Army. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday July 20 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
