Arlene (Ferreira) Cabral, age 74 of Somerset passed away February 19, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Fonseca) Ferreira. She had worked as a CNA at Catholic Memorial for 31 years before retiring and volunteered at the Greater Fall River Community Soup Kitchen, Inc. at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Fall River and the Arnel-Haggerman Food Bank at the Church of Our Savior in Somerset. She was also a member of the AARP and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arlene was the mother of Craig J. Cabral (wife Diane) and Christopher J. Cabral (wife Marianne), both of Assonet. Sister of June Deloram (late husband Al) of FL and the late David Joseph Ferreira (wife Judy) of Fall River. She also leaves grandchildren Rachel, Christopher John and Corey James Cabral and great grandchildren Zoey, Connor and Christian Cabral and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place THURSDAY in St. Michael Church, Essex St., Fall River at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
