TEWKSBURY - Ernestine M. (Geyer) Doyle, age 85, died Tuesday morning, February 19, at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley after a long period of declining health.
She was born in Munich, Germany, on March 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Edmund and Theresa (Wilde) Geyer, and emigrated to the United States at the age of twenty four. She had lived in Tewksbury most of her adult life. Mrs. Doyle was an employee trainer at Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington, and later at Merck Pharmaceuticals in Wilmington.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Church in Tewksbury.
During her leisure time she enjoyed crocheting, Jig Saw puzzles, cooking, and getting out for Bingo.
She was the devoted mother of three sons, Dennis Doyle of Ayer, Barry Doyle and his wife Jacquelyn of Brookline, NH, Stephen Doyle of Lowell; devoted to her daughter, Heidi Doyle and her husband Shawn Beauchesne of Tewksbury; loving grandmother of nine, Matthew Doyle of Cambridge, Shane Doyle of Ayer, Trisha Doyle of Tyngsboro, Victoria Beauchesne and Jeremy Beauchesne both of Tewksbury, Sam Cockerline of Dracut and Rory Cockerline of Chelmsford, Anthony Pasciscia of Brookline, NH, Joseph Pasciscia of Brooklyn, NY; adoring great grandmother of Lily, Thomas and Luke; the sister of Edmund Geyer and his wife Ermi, and Gunter Geyer and his wife Monica all of Germany; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Geyer of Germany, who was wife of the late Helmut Geyer; and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, Feb. 25, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Memorials to the Alzheimers Association of MA, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472 will be appreciated.
