Maxwell C. Curry, age 81, of Lynn, formerly of Revere and Watertown, died February 15 at a local nursing home after a brief illness.
Born in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of the late Maxwell C. Jr. and Harriet A. (Stobin) Curry. He was the husband of Karen M. (O’Gard) Curry with whom he shared 39 years of marriage. He was in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War, serving in Korea for one year. He was a train operator for the MBTA for 25 years before his retirement.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Karen M. Shatto of Boston and one granddaughter, Dakota M. Shatto; one niece, Dawnmarie and her husband Chad Burkett of Peabody; two great-nieces Shai and Madison Oliva of Peabody.
Service Information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services in the NADWORNY FUNERAL HOME, 798 Western Ave., Lynn, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow in Harmony Grove Crematory. Graveside services will be held in the Korean Lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Friday at 10 a.m., gathering at the Main Gate at 9:45 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m
