CHELMSFORD - Wilfred A. “Willy” Demars, Jr., age 63, died Friday, February 15, in his Chelmsford home following a brief illness. He was born March 14, 1949, in Cambridge, the only child of the late, Mary (Riberio) and Wilfred A. Demars. He grew up in Cambridge, lived in various local communities including Tewksbury for most of his adult years, before moving to Chelmsford.
Before retiring, he was the driver and owner of W. A. Demars Trucking. His interests included muscle cars, airplanes, and trucks.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Wilfred A. Demars III and his wife, Alyson of Dracut; a daughter, Kerrie A. Demars of Chelmsford; six grandchildren, Victoria, Ariana, Dylan, Lily, Joshua, and Kellie.
He was the father, the late, of Robert M. Demars, who died in 2006.
His Funeral Service was held Wednesday, February 20, in the funeral home, followed by his burial at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury.
