Joe Neal Biggar, age 63, of Clarksville, TN, celebrated Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Heaven with His Lord and Savior. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. and Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman and Wade Bourne officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Guthrie, KY.
Joe was born on November 22, 1949 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Ted and Dorothy Boyer Biggar. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. Joe worked as a railroad engineer for the CSX Railroad and retired from R.J. Corman Railroad. Joe was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville.
He was preceded in death by his father and infant daughter, Lindsay Jo Biggar. Joe is survived by his wife, Lynette Miller Biggar of Clarksville, TN; mother, Dorothy Biggar of Clarksville, TN; four daughters, Brandy Biggar, Allison Biggar, Stacey (Philip) Hagewood, and Natalie (Ben) Walker of Clarksville, TN; brother, Teddy (Belinda) Biggar of Clarksville, TN; two sisters, Janet (Richard) Whipple of Nashville, TN and Jennifer (David) Weatherholtz; and five grandchildren, Kender, Camden, and Kentley Walker, and Briley and Hadley Hagewood who loved him dearly. They will miss their "Joe Joe".
Pallbearers will be Mike Boisseau, Timmy Deem, Philip Hagewood, Doug Hildreth, Rob Kiely, Joaquin Villarreal, and Ben Walker.
