Mrs. Marion B. (Jean) Sizemore, 86, wife of the late Jason G. Sizemore, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 15, 2013.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. in Westover Memorial Park, with Rev. Dave Dillard and Rev. Bret Legg officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the graveside.
Mrs. Sizemore was a member of Warren Baptist Church and a former member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church where she was church secretary for many years. She retired from Civil Service at Fort Gordon after 13 years where she worked in the MP School and the Signal School. Mrs. Sizemore, affectionately known as “Booma” to her family, was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her “children”.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jason G. Sizemore. Survivors include her son, Michael J. Sizemore, Sr and wife, Connie J. Sizemore, of Evans, Ga., and her daughter, Mary S. Whittle and husband, John E. Whittle, III of Grovetown, Ga; a sister, Mary B. Pritchard of Martinez, GA; grandchildren, Michael J. Sizemore, Jr of Orlando, FL, Scott Sizemore, and Matt Sizemore of Evans, Ryan Whittle (Mary), and Rachael Whittle of Grovetown; and two great-grandchildren, Emma Kate Whittle and Mason Whittle of Grovetown.
Contributions to Warren Baptist Vision 20/20 Building Fund may be given in lieu of flowers.
