Lawrence Gerard Cardin, 62, passed away on February 12, 2013 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Cardin was born on June 18, 1950 to the late Gerard and Avis W. Cardin. Mr. Cardin received his Master’s Degree from the University of South Florida. He was a board certified Behavior Analyst and was employed by Benchmark Human Services in Douglas, GA. He was also employed by Ft. Wayne State Developmental Center, Ft. Wayne, IN, Columbus Organization, Columbia, TN, Mid-TN-E-TN, TX & FL Supported Living and Board Member on BIO’s Advisory Council.
Survivors include: wife: Gail Lynn Hoobler-Cardin, Douglas, GA; daughters: Katrina Cardin, Mt. Horab, WI, Brittany Cardin, and Lorelei (James) Hawker both of Appleton, WI; seven grandchildren; brothers: Fred and Frank Cardin, Appleton, WI; sisters: Janeine Appleton, WI, Judy and Joy Cardin both of Madison, WI. He was preceded in death by brothers: John Cardin and Bradley Kososki.
A memorial service will be held on February 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Coffee Regional Medical Center. Pending memorial in Fort Wayne, IN and Appleton, WI.
