Cecile M. (Perron) Purcell, 83, of Lawrence died Thursday at Penacook Place in Haverhill. Born in Lowell Mrs. Purcell had been an area resident all her life. She retired as a nursing assistant at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home. Mrs. Purcell was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses of Lawrence, MA. The daughter of the late Arthur and Oliva (Robarge) Perron and mother of the late Kenneth and Steven Purcell, she is survived by her husband of 57 years Edward T. Purcell. One son: Glenn Purcell and his wife Diane, one grandson Bryan E. Purcell and Nichole Gifford of Haverhill, one great-granddaughter Baylee C. Purcell of Haverhill, two sisters Sister Noella Perron PSSF of Sherbrooke Canada and Annette Bourassa of Arizona. There are several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at John Breen Memorial Funeral Home 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
