Charles H. (Cosma) Cosmo, 77, of Swansea, formerly of New Bedford and Fall River, died Thursday July 15, 2004 at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Henrique and Auta "Yorta" (Silva) Cosmo, he had been a resident at the Wrentham State School for sixty years. He later lived in several group homes in the Fall River area and at the Hallmark Nursing Home in New Bedford for the past three years. He had moved to Swansea two weeks ago. He attended LifeStream Day Care.
He was well liked by all who came in contact with him and he will be greatly missed.
Survivors include two sisters, Rose Gilbert and Laura Blake, both of New Bedford; a brother, John Cosmo and his wife Doris of Fairhaven; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Mary "Mayme" Gonsalves and the late Mary Cosmo, who died as a child.

Visiting hours will be on Friday July 16, 2004 from 4-8 PM. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
