Wayne V. Bergstrom, 71, of Derry, NH died Thursday February 14, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 17, 1941 in Springfield, MA, a son of the late Woodrow and May (Noble) Bergstrom. He was raised and educated in Springfield, MA, moving to NH 15 years ago. Wayne was a member of the Teamsters Local #404 and was a truck driver for Holmes Transportation of Springfield, MA, CF Freightways of Chicopee, MA, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., and most recently DAM Express of Manchester, NH. Mr. Bergstrom enjoyed watching the History channel and particularly enjoyed old black and white war and cowboy movies.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Marie D. “Mimi” Bergstrom of Derry, five children, Richard Bergstrom of Chicopee, MA, Eric Bergstrom of Palmer, MA, Laura Bergstrom of Greenfield, MA, Jacquie Boduck of Springfield, MA, and Danielle Dupuis of North Yarmouth, ME, six grandchildren, one great granddaughter, two brothers, Neil Bergstrom of Belchertown, MA and Leigh Bergstrom of Anchorage, Alaska as well as many friends.
