Obituary

Luann Mosher Doucette, 50 of Westport died unexpectedly after surgery on Friday February 8, 2013. Born and raised in Dartmouth, she has resided in Westport for the past 20 years. She was the daughter of Nancy and the late Ralph Mosher of Dartmouth. She leaves three sons Jason Mosher and his wife Jennifer, Randall Mosher and Ryan Doucette all of Westport, her beloved grandchildren Alexus, Aubrey and Jason and her fiancé Kenneth Gagnon of Westport.
Luann’s kindness towards others and her love of family was evident in the way she lived her life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren at the beach, raising yorkies, hosting cookouts on the patio, camping in the summer, going out dancing, catching a ride on a motorcycle, and being a hairdresser. Many friends admired Luann for her helpful and giving spirit. She always made new friends wherever she went. Luann will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving relatives include her mother Nancy Mosher, her sisters, Nancy Thibodeau, and Jane Raczka and her husband Stephen, all of Dartmouth; a nephew Andy Thibodeau and his wife Julie and their two daughters Jacqueline and Andrea; and two nieces, Rebecca Raczka Ortiz and her husband Jon and Stephanie Chace and her husband Christopher and their son Mason.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday February 15th from 10:00am-12:00 pm at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St New Bedford followed by her funeral service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
