Debra Elaine Burke, 55, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2013 in Savannah following a brief illness. Ms. Burke was born on May 6, 1957 to Shirley Burke and the late Curtis Burke and was preceded in death by a sister, Emily Kaye Burke Blampied.
Survivors include: mother: Shirley Burke, Douglas, GA; sisters: Sharon B. Anderson, Fernandina Beach, FL, Elizabeth B. (Johnny) Batten, Douglas, GA, Mary Lou Burke, Savannah, GA; brothers: Billy (Leisha) Burke, Curtis (Shari) Ferrell Burke, Ezra (Kim) Burke and Matthew (Serena) Burke all of Broxton, GA; brother in law: George Blampied, Douglas, GA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Den Weniger and Rev. Donald Burke officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Church Cemetery.
