Obituary

Sister Therese Boulay, pm, 89, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, died February 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Residence in Manchester, NH.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on June 17, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Polycarp and Marie-Ange (Girard) Boulay.
She entered the Order of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in 1942 in Hudson, NH and made her First Profession in 1944 and Final Profession in 1949. She received her BA degree from Rivier University in Nashua, NH.
From 1944 until 1951 she taught in the Parochial Elementary Schools in Artic and Albion, RI and 1955 and 1958 at Notre Dame High, Berlin and St. Marie High School, Manchester, NH.
In 1958 she left for the Philippines Island where she served as a missionary for 36 years.
In 1994, she returned to the United States Province and was assigned to Rivier College in Nashua. She retired in 2001, at the Marie Rivier Community in Hudson, NH. In 2007 she transferred to St. Joseph Residence in Manchester.
Family members include two sisters Annette Krol and brother-in-law of Uxbridge, MA, Marie L. Roy and brother-in-law of Woonsocket, RI; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in the Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH. Burial was in Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson.
