BEVERLY (TYO) BENNETT-CONTOS, age 63, of North Weymouth, formerly of Hingham, died on Monday, July 12th at her home after a brief illness. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Braintree where she attended Archbishop Williams High School. She lived in Hingham for many years before moving to North Weymouth 10 years ago. Mrs. Bennett-Contos loved gardening, cooking and music.She leaves her husband, Charles G. Contos, Sr. of North Weymouth, her 3 children; Allison R. Wheaton of Rockland, Lauren A. Hornstra and David S. Bennett, Jr. both of Hingham, and her brother, Walter Tyo of Sandwich. She was the step-mother of Charles G. Contos, Jr. of Amherst, NH and John M. Contos of Carver. Also survived by 8 grandchildren.Visiting hours omitted by request. A Graveside Service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 20th at 1 PM at the Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West St., Braintree.
