Creed, Sylvia M. (Curry) of Marshfield and Jensen Beach, FL, passed away on February 7, 2013 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Creed. Loving mother of Jeff F. Creed and his wife Anne of Duxbury, Stephen M. Creed and his wife Carol of Epsom, NH, Kevin M. Creed of Plymouth, John Creed of Philadelphia, PA, Matthew R. Creed and his wife Kerri of Hull, Jeanne Marie Ryan and her husband Jim of Kingston, Lisa E. Kerrigan and her husband Patrick of Franklin Lake, NJ and the late Edward D. Creed. Loving grandmother of Jessica, Daniel, Jason, Chris, Samantha, Kim, Michael, Hailey, Andrew, Brianna and Kallen Creed, Joshua and Erin Connolly, Michelle Sampson and Catherine, Clare, Gabrielle and Patrick Kerrigan. Great grandmother of Nathan Mota. Dear sister of Patricia Cunningham of Revere and the late Jack Curry, Lorraine Herosy and Brian Curry. Daughter of the late John J. and Isabel M. (Toland) Curry. Sylvia was born in Norwood and raised in Canton and South Boston. She graduated from St. Augustine’s School in Boston, class of 1955. Sylvia loved the Audubon Society, flowers, reading, doing puzzles of all kinds and the beach. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters. Sylvia’s main activity was her family.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, February 13 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St., Marshfield at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Couch Cemetery.
