Ms. Carol J. Scurini, age 77 of Medford , died Saturday at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is the former wife of the late Caesar Scurini. Ms. Scurini was born in Cambridge, daughter of the late Leon and Alfreda (MacMillan) Steeves.
A Medford resident for more than 42 years, she spent her earlier years in Cambridge and Somerville. She is a graduate of Somerville High School, class of 1953. For many years she worked in the Accounts payable department of a paper company Carol enjoyed painting, and Bingo. She loved a game of chance and attended many trips to Foxwoods. She was known to play "Words With Friends" a game found on Facebook. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra L. Gizzi of Medford and her late husband Joseph.
Loving grandmother of Janet R. Gizzi of Medford and her fiancé David Pellegrini of Mansfield. Dear sister of Janet Steeves of Medford,and the late Bradford Steeves. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 thru 9 at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Carol's name be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
