Steven N. "Steve" Delmolino, 56 of Anderson died February 3, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson after a 4 year courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 19, 1956 in Great Barrington, MA to Stefano and Janice (Moore) Delmolino.
He was a plumber and co-owner of Delmolino Plumbing and worked at St. John's Health System for the last 10 years as a plumber.
He attended East Side Church of God. He was an avid sports and Patriot fan; he loved classic cars, spending time with his family, playing horseshoes and relaxing at the family cabin near Patoka Lake. He loved his dog Tonka. He was a very devoted and unselfish person.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 30 years, Cheryl (Brown) Delmolino of Anderson whom he married June 19, 1983; daughter Shawn Delmolino of Indianapolis; his 2 sisters Diane (Rick) Coleman of San Antonio, TX and Debbie (Brian) Trimble of Alexandria; his brother Paul (Connie) Delmolino of Anderson; nieces and nephews: Matthew (Stephanie) Leasure of Charlotte, NC; Laci Delmolino of Anderson; Sara (Dustin) Delmolino of Pendleton: Chad (Tiffany) Trimble; Shaefer Watson and Shane Delmolino all of Anderson; mother-in-law: Becky Brown of Anderson; sisters-in-law: Terri (Rod) Canine of Crawfordsville; Barbara (Dick) Aynes of Anderson; brothers-in-law: Rick Brown of Northern Indiana; Jay (Della) Brown of Alexandria; Bobby (Dawn) Brown of Anderson; Tony (Julie) Brown of Anderson and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Mark Shaner of East Side Church of God officiating. Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Relapsing Polychondritis Research Center of Seattle, Washington.
