Virginia (McCloskey) Guest, of Plymouth, died on February 2nd at Jordan Hospital at the age of 87. The beloved wife of the late William Guest, she is survived by her children William Guest Jr. of Plymouth, Nancy Stambaugh of Plymouth and Regina Hill of Carver. She also leaves her sister Margaret Foote of Plymouth, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Michael Guest.
Virginia was born in Boston, daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Crowley) McCloskey. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Anne’s Church in Neponsett and enjoyed traveling and especially spending time with her family.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 5th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth from 5 to 9 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 6th at St. Kateri Church in Plymouth at 11 AM followed by burial at the National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Kateri Church, South Meadow Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360.
