Doris K. Bergamesca, of Duxbury, MA, passed from her family and friends February 1, 2013. Born in Jersey City, NJ on March 4, 1935 to Johann and Teresa Gebler, she is remembered as a loving wife, devoted daughter-in-law to Red and Jay, incomparable mother, fun grandmother, and generous friend. Her husband Ronald will miss his partner of fifty-six years; daughters Nancy Cross and Judy lost their best friend; sons Ronnie, David and Steven will miss her pampering and unconditional love; son- and daughters-in-law Jon Cross, Anne, Heather and Cynthia lost a second mother; for grandchildren Daniel, Sean Cross, Katie, Jamie Cross, Matthew, Reid, Maya, Ryan and Charlotte, also known as Amigos Two through Ten, time with Doris was wonderful but much too short; friends, too many to name, will miss a welcoming companion and consummate entertainer. Doris’ family honored her at a private funeral mass at Holy Family Catholic Church in Duxbury.
