Nancy Ann Massey Creek, 76, of Clarksville, TN, went to be with her Father in Heaven on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1936 in Owensville, Indiana to the late Paul Warren Massey and Helen Highsmith Massey.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Jerry Harwell officiating. Private graveside will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Nancy was a registered nurse and dedicated homemaker. She was a Sunday School teacher, church choir member, loyal friend, and advisor to many. She will be remembered and greatly missed by many service members for her letters and packages of rememberance. She was also a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe Creek of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Donna Forsythe (Robert) and Ann Long of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Sue Ellen Freudenburg of Ft. Branch, IN; nephew, Jim Freudenburg of Ann Arbor, MI; niece, Beth Schmitt of Ft. Branch, IN; and four grandchildren, Laura and Julia Forsythe and Erin and Caleb Massey.
