Ralph Alton Bates, 71, of Clarksville, TN, died on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 20, 1941 in Centerville, Tennessee to the late William Olan Bates and Ada Cline Bates.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Ralph was an U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Bates of Clarksville, TN and son, Roger Bates (Mary Clark) of Ocean Springs, MS.
