Phillip Lee Dean

Phillip Lee Dean, 54, of Anderson died January 31, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after long battle with cancer.
He was born on August 19, 1958 in Anderson, the son of Robert E. and Mary Lee (Everroad) Dean. He was employed by USA Funds in Fishers, Indiana for 21 years as an accountant. He was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church for 25 years, and there he served as chairman of the board, elder, deacon, and a choir member. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, Nascar, music, playing the guitar, and sports. He served as President of the Chesterfield Little League and coached several teams.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Jane Ann (Hughes) Dean, 2 sons: Andrew Dean of Ft. Wayne and Michael (wife Amanda) Dean of Austin, TX. His parents, Robert and Mary Lee Dean of Anderson, a brother, Robert E. ( wife Robin) Dean of Layfette, CO, and a sister, Amy (husband Bill) Clayton of Daleville. Brother in law and sister in law, Randy and Becky Hughes of Alexandria, and Alan and Marsha Hughes of Muncie. Several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, at 12 Noon with Pastor Mike Weber officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the Monday service beginning at 10 AM. Cremation will follow the service and burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or to Chesterfield Christian Church.
