Jamie F. Lawton, age 18, passed away Sunday, July 11th. Born in Winchester he was the beloved son of Mary (Ricciardi) and Thomas W. Lawton of Woburn. Jamie was a graduate of Woburn High School this past spring where he lettered in both soccer and lacrosse, he was also a member of the Leo Club at Woburn High School. Jamie was a life long resident of Woburn and worked as a life guard for the city at the Green St. Pool. Jamie loved music and being with his friends and family. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jamie´s memory to the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn, 1 Charles Gardner Lane, Woburn, MA 01801.
In addition to his parents, Jamie is survived by his sister Sandra Lawton and brother Tim Lawton both of Woburn. He is also survived by his grandmother, Elizabeth “Betty” Lawton of Woburn and is the loving nephew of David J. Lawton of New York, NY, Paul Ricciardi, Virginia Duffett, James F. Lawton III, Peter J., Paul E. and Christopher R. Lawton all of Woburn. He is further survived by his cousins Matthew Duffett and James F. Lawton IV. Jamie is preceded in death by his grandparents, James F. Lawton Jr., Theresa (Lee) and Frank Ricciardi.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn Wednesday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 2 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
