Penacook, N.H. — Thomas G. Burns, 70, beloved husband of Gerry Burns passed away at home on Friday, January 25, 2013, his wife of 49 years by his side.
He was born in Lawrence, on June 15, 1942 where he grew up and attended local schools and graduated from Lawrence High School. During his high school years Mr. Burns was an avid swimmer and active member of the YMCA, he also attended Northeastern University and graduated from Franklin Pierce college with a BA degree in business administration. Mr. Burns was the proprietor of Thom's flooring in Concord N.H. for many years. Tom also enjoyed winning at bridge, bowling and chess.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia and her husband, Ron Howard of Methuen; he leaves several beloved nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, 2013, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, from 2 to 4 p.m.
