Floyd Anthony Palmer, age 68, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Palmer was born on November 12, 1944, in Cherokee, NC to the late Linford and Zola Head Palmer.
Survivors include: his wife: JoAnn Palmer, of Ambrose, GA, three daughters: Sharon (Stephen) Beegle, of Live Oak, FL, Teresa (Ed) Holloway, of Andrews, NC, and Melinda (Mark) Lohmann, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, son: David (Kimberly) Wolfert, of Ambrose, GA, two sisters: Barbara Vicknair, of Murphy, NC and Susie Taylor, of Andrews, NC, three brothers: Linford “Jay” Palmer, Jr., of Marble, NC, Roy Palmer, of Hagesville, NC, and John Palmer, of Murphy, NC, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Casey Wright officiating. Interment followed at Willacoochee City Cemetery.
