LOWELL—Anna (Piasecki) Gajda, 92 years old, died early Thursday morning at the Harborside Healthcare Center, in Amesbury. She was the wife of the late Walter Gajda, who died in 1990.
She was born in Buczacz, Poland, on March 6, 1912, a daughter of the late Jozef and Maria (Ogrodnik) Piasecki. She moved to the United States in April of 1950 and has resided in Lowell for over 50 years.
She was employed as a cafeteria worker at St. Stanislaus Grammar School for over 20 years, and was a communicant of the Holy Trinity Polish Church.
Surviving her are two daughters and one son-in-law: Mary and Ronald Dylingowski, of Amesbury; and Caroline Galbraith, of Lowell; a son: John Gajda, of Lowell; five grandchildren: Michael Dylingowski; Stephen Dylingowski; Victoria “Tori” Gajda; Jennifer Gajda; and Christopher Galbraith.
Her Funeral Mass to be offered Saturday, July 10th, at 10 AM at the HOLY TRINITY POLISH CHURCH, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lowell.
