Christopher Edgar Dixon, 62, of Oak Grove, KY, died on Monday, January 21, 2013 at VA Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born on July 17, 1950 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Edgar Jewel Dixon and Jewel Virginia Bartholow Dixon. He was also preceded in death by his brother, William Jeffrey Dixon.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. His remains will be scattered at sea at a later date.
Christopher was an U.S. Marine Veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by two sisters, Paula Jean Dixon of Oak Grove, KY and Carla Joan Dixon of Clarksville, TN; nephew, Joseph Dixon; and niece, Michell Crouch.
