Robert W. Patnaude Jr., 54, of Auburn, NH passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in his home. He was the son of Margaret and Robert Patnaude, formerly of Lawrence, MA. Robert graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1975. Bob had a strong work ethic, creating a successful asbestos removal business, volunteering as a firefighter and EMT for Chester, and was a proud member of the Cambridge Carpenters Union Local #40.
Bob was a history buff and loved reading and learning. He was adventurous, enjoying skiing, scuba diving, traveling with his family, and especially cruising on his Harley. He was a very generous man who loved to make people smile. Above all Bob loved and cherished his family. He always made it clear that family was the most important part of life.
Bob will be immensely missed by his wife, Suzanne Patnaude; his children Jennifer Shanley, Robert Patnaude III, Renee Patnaude, Sean Patnaude, and Sharee Patnaude; his much adored grandson Sebastian Herr; siblings Irene Moschetto and her husband Peter, Cindy McDermott and her husband Robert, Michael Patnaude and his partner Darren Hanscom, and Vicki Carlisle and her husband Stephen; and many friends, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Monday January 28, 2013 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday January 29th at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry with cremation to follow.
