On Friday, January 25, 2013, at St. Clair Hospital. Born August 10, 1924, the daughter of the late Patrick and Pearle Cawley. She was a graduate jof St. Justin High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She was a retired City of Pittsburgh teacher. She also taught swimming and dance. She lived most of her life on Mt. Washington and was a 12 year resident of Vanadium Woods Village. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Patrick Cawley; sister-in-law, Ruth (Crowe) Cawley; a niece, Shiela Ruth Cawley; and a great-nephew, William Cawley Dobranski. She is survived by her nieces, Jane (Walter) Dobranski, Maripat Cawley, and Susan Cawley; also surviving her are five great-nieces and nephews; five great-great nieces and nephews; many dear cousins; and devoted friend, Jay Minsinger. In accordance with her wished, there will be no services. Burial will be private.
