Howard Robert Bender

Howard Robert Bender, 76, of Anderson, died January 20, 2013 at Community Hospital in Anderson after an extended illness.
He was born August 1, 1936 in Toledo, OH the son of Robert H. and Beatrice Bliss Bender.
He was a tinner for 42 years, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his
with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Clevenger Bender, whom he married July 29, 1961 in Anderson. 2 grandchildren Wesley Bender and Kera Bender, 2 great grandchildren: Haley Bender and Amanda Bender, a brother, William Bender (wife Judi) of Anderson several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jeffery Bender.
Services will be held on Friday, January 25th, 2013 at 11 AM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Kent Stookey. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 24th from 4-8 PM.
