Rita A. Simard, 76, of Champlain St., Berlin passed away on Saturday January 19, 2013 at her home. She was born in Berlin on January 7, 1937 the daughter of the late Alex and Catherine (Labbe) Simard and was a lifelong resident. Rita had been employed by Woolworth’s for 38 years and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish.
She is survived by her sister Florence Perry and her husband Laurence of Berlin; a niece and 5 nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and a close friend Connie Bolduc of Berlin.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning January 26, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow in St. Anne Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home, Berlin.
