New Bedford - Hilda (Carreiro) Guy, 81, of New Bedford, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Mariner Healthcare of Southeastern MA. She was the widow of Louis Guy and mother of Rosemand Pires,wife of Edmund Pires of New Bedford and Gloria Uhler wife of Raymond Uhler of Irvine, Ca.and the sister of Josephine Lacombe of New Bedford. Mrs.Guy was the grandmother of Donna Doyle, Tracy Bridge, Lance Richards and Lisa Richards.
She was born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Antonio Carreiro and Nicolina (Mello) Carreiro and lived in this area all of her life.
Her funeral will be Saturday July 10, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd.., New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours will be Saturday, July 10, 2004 prior to going to church at the funeral home.
