Virginia Lucille Painter Semans, 88, of Clarksville, TN, former resident of Scotts Hill, TN, died on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Sterling House. She was born on January 27, 1924 in Braeburn, Pennsylvania to the late William Daniel Painter and Emily Hindmarsh Painter. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Lowell Semans and five sisters.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Terry Bailey and Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Virginia was a dedicated homemaker and member of Trinity Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by two sons, Lowell Richard Semans, II of Kosciusko, MS and Allen R. Semans (Susan) of Cumberland Furnace, TN; daughter, Phoebe (Ronald) Quinn of Charlotte, TN; sister, Alice Howell of Canton, OH; five grandchildren, Joshua (Teresa) Semans, Chastity Liford, Nathan Semans, Calvin Perry, and Allison Semans; and four great grandchildren, Amber Semans, Zachary Semans, Maddy Semans, and Keith Fielder.
