FITCHBURG – Blanche M. (Nolette) Lussier, 81, of 58 Columbus Street, died Wednesday, July 7, at home after an illness. Her husband of 22 years, Raymond H. “Parnel” Lussier, died in 1965.
She leaves 3 daughters, Diane B. Bourque with whom she lived, Jean J. Manning and Linda M. Melanson, all of Fitchburg; 4 sisters, Theresa Rix and Lucy Charette, both of Fitchburg, Julie Richard of Florida, and Alice Poisson of Westminster; a brother, Leo Nolette of Westminster; 8 grandchildren, including Donald D. Bourque of Webster; 7 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A brother, Roland Nolette, predeceased her.
She was born in Claremont, NH, the oldest of the seven children of Delphis and Jeannette (Gagne) Nolette. She was raised in Winchendon, and lived in Fitchburg for many years.
Mrs. Lussier worked as a machine operator at Independent Lock Company. She was then a stitcher at Anwelt Shoe Company for 25 years, retiring in 1983.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Church, and enjoyed bowling.
The funeral will be held Saturday, July 10, from the Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home, 132 Woodland St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Saint Joseph Church, 49 Woodland Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, July 9, at the funeral home. Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home is directing arrangements.

Take exit 30, at light take left onto South Street, then left onto Electric Ave. Follow until you take a right onto Clarendon Street, then a right onto Pratt Street, at end of Pratt Street take left onto Woodland Street , funeral home is on left and parking is on the right.
