Dino I. Centofanti, 67, died suddenley on Thursday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford. Born and raised in Solmona, Italy he was the husband of Emma (Volpe).
He is also survived by his daughter Helen Vita and her husband Nicky of Medford, Cyndi Ciambelli and her husband Steven of Revere. Five loving grandchildren, Michele, Nico, Alisa, Steven and Geena. Two sisters Rosa DiMeo and Maria Gasbarro of the No. End and a brother Giovanni Centofanti of Italy.
A resident of Medford since 1961, he was a member of the Plasters and Cement Masons Local 534 of Boston, he enjoyed horse racing as a hobby and was a member of the owners and trainers club at Suffok Downs, Boston.
His funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 09:00 AM in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden. Friends may visit Monday from 4 thru 8. At the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
