Little Compton, RI – Raynore L. (Fiske) Romsey, 83, of Beach Drive, Chace Point, Little Compton, RI, formerly of Belmont, MA and Dover, MA, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at home, after a long illness. She was the widow of David M. Romsey, Jr.
Mrs. Romsey was born in Boston, daughter of the late Georgy B. and Gladys D. (Deauch) Fiske, and had resided in Little Compton since 1971. She was a member of the Sakonnet Garden Club in RI.
She is survived by 2 sons: David B. Romsey and his wife Sharon of Uniontown, OH and Steven D. Romsey and his wife Patricia of Fairhaven; a daughter: Sheryl Lee Dowd and her husband Thomas of Ocean City, Maryland; 6 grandchildren: Elaine Morgan, Thomas Dowd III, David Dowd, Courtney Lucey, Ashleigh Aspega and David Romsey; and 6 great grandchildren.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. from the First Baptist (Old Stone) Church, Tiverton, RI .
Calling hours Friday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment will be private.
