New Bedford – Donna Braga, age 60, died on January 15, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Robert Braga. She was the loving mother of Adam Braga and Jen Braga of New Bedford. Mrs. Braga has 3 siblings: Loraine Coelho, Kathleen McDaniel and Joe Coelho all of New Bedford. Mrs. Braga was predeceased by her brother the late Manuel Coelho. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mrs. Braga was born in New Bedford, daughter of Marianna (Reis) Nunes and the late Jose Coelho. She worked as a sales associate for Boston Financial before retirement.
Mrs. Braga’s visiting hours will be Friday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St in New Bedford from 5 – 8 P.M. Her funeral will be Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. James Church at 10:00 A.M. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated.
