Mrs. Gladys M. (Ward) Bosak, a lifelong resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Stanley Bosak died at the Courtyard Nursing Center in Medford on Sunday morning, January 13, 2013. She was 95 years old.
Gladys was born in Canada on August 16, 1917 and moved to Medford at a young age. She was employed for many years as a Secretary for John Hancock Insurance. In her spare time, Gladys enjoyed Crocheting and visiting Flea Markets. She was also an avid reader her entire life.
She will be sorely missed by her loving son; Stephen J. and his wife Donna M. Bosak of Medford, grandchildren; Lindsay and her husband Keith Reynolds, Christopher J. Bosak and Jennifer A. Bosak.
Her funeral was held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 8 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
