TEWKSBURY - Myrtle K. (Ketchum) Drady, age 92, died Tuesday, July 6, at the Lahey Clinic inBurlington. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Drady.
She was born in Malden, June 10, 1912, a daughter of the late Francis J. and Lena (Cleggett)Ketchum. She was raised in Medford and attended Medford schools. She lived in Wakefield for35 years, moved to Peabody, where she lived for 20 years, and had lived with her daughter andson-in-law in Tewksbury for the last 20 years.
She was a former member of St. Adelaide’s Church in Wakefield, and St. William’s Church inTewksbury.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and John “Jack” Carey of Merideth, NH,formerly of Tewksbury; five grandchildren, Deborah Landry of Lowell, Pamela Parent ofTewksbury, Michael Carey of No. Reading, Joanne carey of Cal., Virginia Lord of Wilmington; eight great grandchildren, Sean, Kristeen, Shayne, Jeffrey, Ross, Evan, Jared, and Zachary; asister, Anna Bowering of Rochester, NH; and a brother, Frank Ketchum of Palm Coast, Fla.
She was also sister of the late Charles Ketchum, and Helen Bowering.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.The date and time will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of donor’schoice will be appreciated.
